How far does the iFetch Frenzy accelerate the ball?
The iFetch Frenzy accelerates the ball 6-12 feet on average unless the dog retrieves it before then.
How do I get started with the iFetch Frenzy?
To get started with the iFetch Frenzy, all you need to do is remove it from the box, find the balls in the storage space underneath the Frenzy, and drop one ball in the top at a time to start hours of endless fetching fun! Watch as the ball accelerates out of one of three chutes along the base of the Frenzy at random.
How are the iFetch and iFetch Too powered?
The iFetch is powered by being plugged into the wall using the included wall plug, or can be portable by using 6 C batteries. The iFetch Too has an internal rechargeable battery that charges in 12-16 hours.
Which iFetch product is best for my dog?
This depends on each individual dog. Of our automatic ball launchers, we say that the iFetch Original is for small to medium breeds and the iFetch Too is for medium to large breeds, however we have seen large dogs use the iFetch and small dogs use the iFetch Too.
In order to figure out which size is best for your dog, we recommend you purchase a ball that is 1.5″ diameter and a standard size tennis ball (~2.5″ diameter) and test each one with your dog. If your dog prefers the 1.5″ diameter ball, then the iFetch will work fine. If your dog prefers the 2.5″ ball, then the iFetch Too is a better option.
Another thing to consider is the launch distance. If you intend to play with the product outdoors and launch it as far as possible, the iFetch Too is probably the best option due to its launch distance of 13 meters. It also has a rechargeable battery, unlike the iFetch, which has to either be plugged in or runs on 6 C batteries.
When deciding between the iFetch and iFetch Frenzy, consider a few factors.
Distance – If you are working with a small space, the iFetch Frenzy is a great option because the ball only rolls 6-12 feet each time. The iFetch, however, has a 9 meter setting that works well indoors. If you are looking for a further distance, the iFetch also has settings for 3 meter and 6 meter launch distances.
- Budget – The iFetch Frenzy is $89.95 and the iFetch is $199.95 whereas the iFetch Too is $399.95
- Power – The iFetch Frenzy is non-electronic and makes no noise. The iFetch requires 6 C batteries or a power cord plugged into the wall to power it on.
- Surface – The iFetch Frenzy must be used on a flat surface (indoors or outdoors). The iFetch can be used on almost any surface (indoors or outdoors).
If you are still having trouble deciding and have questions, don’t hesitate to contact us at info@goifetch.com.au and we will be happy to help you decide which product is best for you and your dog.
Are the iFetch products safe for my dog?
When introducing your dog to the iFetch or iFetch Too, we recommend that you teach him or her to stay behind the product (or to the side of it) as the product prepares to launch. At its highest launch setting (9 meters feet for the iFetch, 13 meters for the iFetch Too), the product can toss the ball at speeds which could injure your dog, especially if they are standing directly in front of the product. While most dogs learn very quickly where to stand to avoid getting hit by the ball, adult human supervision is recommended until your dog is fully trained.

The iFetch Frenzy is non-electronic and does not launch balls, so you don’t have to worry about your dog getting injured from the product itself. Please be cautious when letting medium to large dogs play with the miniature iFetch tennis balls (1.5″ diameter or 40mm). Please supervise to ensure your dog does not choke or swallow the balls.

What size balls do the iFetch, iFetch Frenzy, and iFetch Too use?
The iFetch is designed for indoor/outdoor use with miniature tennis balls that are 40mm or 1.5 inches in diameter (the same size as most miniature tennis balls that you can find in pet stores).

The iFetch Too balls that are included with each iFetch Too measure 2.5″ in diameter, however the iFetch Too will work with any ball measuring 2.4″-2.7″ in diameter.

The iFetch has three launch distance settings. 10 feet, 20 feet, or 30 feet. To set the launch distance, all you have to do is press the button on the back to cycle through the settings. How easy is it to train a dog to use the iFetch products?
If your dog already loves to play fetch, it should be pretty easy. Some customers have told us it took them less than 20 minutes (and a handful of treats) to teach their dogs how to use the iFetch, iFetch Frenzy, or iFetch Too. To make things even easier, we have put together some training tips and a short training video.
Does iFetch have a version for bigger dogs?
Yes! The iFetch Too is a great option for medium to large dogs who prefer to use standard size tennis balls and who would like a further launch distance.
How long does the iFetch work on batteries?
A long time! We’ve done extensive testing of iFetch and we have found that it will keep throwing balls for approximately 30 hours on a fully charged set of 6 C-cell batteries. If your dog can play fetch continuously for that long, then you may want to enter your dog into the Guinness World Records.
My dog slobbers a lot. Is that a problem?
Some dogs slobber more than others. If your dog is a heavy slobberer, you may need to wipe off the balls from time to time. When using the iFetch Too, be sure to set it on one of the higher launch distance settings if your dog tends to slobber.
What happens if I put other things into any of the iFetch products (e.g. coins, golf balls, etc)?
While that does sound like a fun experiment, we don’t recommend you put anything into the iFetch, iFetch Frenzy or iFetch Too other than tennis balls as that is not the intended use of the iFetch, iFetch Frenzy, or iFetch Too.
What comes with my iFetch, iFetch Frenzy, or iFetch Too order?
